  1. SIMPLE/STANDARD SEARCH:
    • Single Word Search:
    • Jesus --> search for the ONE word "Jesus", in ALL verses.
    • Multi Word Search:
      Jesus Christ Lord --> search for ALL of these words in ANY order, in ALL verses.
    • Phrase Search:
      "Jesus Christ" ---> search for ALL of these words/phrase in the exact order, in ALL verses.
    • Double Click Search:
      "Double click" on ANY single word -- result is an instant search -- same as Single Word Search.
  2. BOOLEAN SEARCH: (using "Magic Words" or OPERATORS)>
    • AND (or & ) operator:
      Jesus AND Christ AND Lord --> search all verses contain the word/phrase "Jesus" and "Christ" and "Lord".
    • OR (or | ) operator:
      Jesus OR Lord --> search all verses contain the word "Jesus" or "Lord".
    • NOT (or - ) operator:
      Jesus NOT Christ --> search all verses contain the word "Jesus" without the word "Christ". Jesus AND Christ NOT LORD --> search all verses contain the word/phrase "Jesus" and "Christ" without the word "LORD".
    • ALL operator: (default mode for simple search)
      ALL Jesus Christ LORD --> search all verses contain the words "Jesus" and "Christ" and "LORD".
    • ANY operator:
      ANY Jesus LORD --> search all verses contain the words "Jesus" or "Christ" or "LORD".
  3. RANGE SEARCH: (search in only OT or NT)>
    • OT operator:
      Restricts search to only the Old Testament -- Can be placed anywhere in the search string.
    • NT operator:
      Restricts search to only the New Testament -- Can be placed anywhere in the search string.
  4. WILDCARD SEARCH:

    (? as placeholder for exactly 1 letter)
    • LETTER (?) operator:
      love? --> search for love plus one letter (loves or loved).
      r?ad --> finds read, and road.
      r??d* --> finds raddai, raiding, etc.
    • SUFFIX (*) operator:
      merc* --> search ALL words BEGINNING with "merc...".
    • PREFIX (*) operator:
      *hearted --> search ALL words ENDING with "...hearted".
    • IN-FIX (*) operator:
      d*ion --> search ALL words BEGINNING with "d.." and ENDING with "..ion".
    • ANY-FIX/ROOT (*) operator:
      *love* --> search ALL words with "..love.." in the MIDDLE.
